Accountable for overall location leadership of grain quality, staffing and safety compliance initiatives. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Communicates and promotes grain marketing products, services, and programs that meet customer’s needs.

• Communicate and hold weekly scheduled meetings with grain department regarding various marketing programs and operational logistics.

Farm Supervisor needed near Maquoketa in Jackson County Iowa. 

Perform equipment operation/maintenance and schedule planting, spraying, de-tasseling and harvesting for a 2,000 acre row crop farm. Assist the herdsman of 300 cow/calf pairs (on 1,000 acres of pasture) with fencing, calving and scheduling chores. Manual labor required and ability to operate all farm equipment, including tractors, semi's and sprayers in a safe and reliable manner. 

Great benefits and pay include health coverage assistance, dental, 401K, paid vacation and overtime pay after 47 hours. Earn between $18 to $22 an hour starting pay—DOE.  Your hours will not be limited if there is work to be done. Most weekends required during planting and harvest and 1 weekend a month requirement to do the cattle chores.

With 4 full time workers and 4 part time people during busy times, you will need to have a good temperament and know how to hold people accountable. We need multiple mechanics with hands on experience. ASE Certified Master Mechanic a plus but not necessary. This is a position that is also open to new tech graduates if they also have experience and show solid work ethic. You will be servicing brakes, tires and doing all general vehicle mechanic work. The full-time position is located 10 miles from Sioux Falls. 5 day work week with 11 hour days, 7am-6pm or 8am-7pm. Saturday work is possible but limited to emergencies. Pay: Depending on experience $20-$25, overtime pay after 40 hours is time and a half.  Benefits: 2 week vacation, 3% employer match to retirement account.
